There is nothing my husband and I love more than getting to sneak away for a date night. Let’s face it, between chores, errands, and carpooling 3 kids around, time alone to reconnect is always much needed. We love a nice dinner out, but sometimes it’s fun to do an activity. Who can relate? Topgolf is such a hot spot for good food, drinks, some healthy competition, and a whole lot of fun!
On our most recent date night, we had a blast at our local Topgolf! We decided to keep it simple and play a few rounds of the classic game, which was so much fun. This game is great for beginners, or if you just want to keep it casual. All you do is tee up and hit the balls. They are assigned using microchip technology, and you want to aim for one of the many targets. The more accurate your shot and the farther the distance, the more points you earn. With innovative technology that’s used in major televised golf broadcasts, Topgolf tracks the flight path of the golf balls, instantly scoring every shot! I loved trying to hit the targets and seeing how I scored on the screens behind us. It was so cool to see the targets light up when my husband hit them. I did learn a few tips from him, but ultimately, he beat me. There was no comparison, but as I often say, I just came for the fun! In between making shots, you can enjoy the bar and delicious eats too! I loved the menu selection at the National Harbor location. We enjoyed the Jumbo Pretzel Board and a round of drinks.
Topgolf provides guests with an overall relaxed, kicked back and interactive experience. I like that this venue works well for a date night, double date, or even a fun family outing. My kids are begging us to take them! If you are looking for a way to relax and have some fun, Topgolf is the perfect way to do so. We even talked about hosting my husband’s next work event here!
And every great party needs a great invitation, right? I love to use Evite when planning parties and events! It’s easy and convenient. Send your guests an Evite invitation they can’t refuse. When they open it to see a Topgolf event, trust me, they will all be saying “we’re there!”
