Matilda is one of my favorite stories. I love the character and the themes the story weaves of bravery, love and friendship. I have never seen the musical version, so when I saw previews of Matilda The Musical on Netflix I was so very excited. This film lived up to and exceeded my expectations. The storytelling was brilliant. The songs were moving. The chorography and talent was wildly entertaining! There is nothing I love more than getting cozy and pressing play on a Christmas movie. I think A Christmas Story is on everyone’s favorite holiday classics lists. I was so excited to hear we get to visit these characters again as A Christmas Story Christmas was announced. This is a sequel to the classic film. We get to see Ralphie visit his home and friends as an adult in the 70’s. This film is full of nostalgia and heart. I loved being able to chat with Peter Billingsley about the legacy and meaning of both films.
