Christmas Candylane is my favorite time of year to visit Hersheypark! There is magic around every corner. Sweet treats, twinkling lights and all of the holiday fun you could think of.
The Lights
More than 5 million twinkling lights deck the halls of Hersheypark® in celebration of the season! Get in the holiday spirit with our guests’ favorite show, NOEL, featuring more than 250,000 lights dancing to classic holiday tunes. Then, stop by the Kissmas Tree display, see our iconic Kisses Fountain decked out in its holiday best. You really do feel like you are walking in a winter wonderland as you as you enter the gates. There is music playing, snow falling, and dazzling lights creating magical winter scenery. I love sipping my hot chocolate and strolling down the boardwalk looking at the festive trail of more than a dozen trees!
The Sweets
Indulge in over the top Christmas milkshakes and the decedent variety of hot chocolates at the Simply Chocolate Hot Chocolate Bar. These are special drinks available only during the holiday season at the park. Outside of the park you must stop at The Chocolatier and The Sweeterie. You will find special holiday cupcakes, cakes, and other desserts that are simply just delightful. I had the peppermint hot chocolate and it was so yummy, I needed a second! Of course Hersheypark has incredible treats all year round, but the holiday treats are like no other.

The Christmas Magic
Did you know Santa and all 9 of his reindeer make a special stop at Hersheypark Christmas Candylane event each year? You can go visit to Santa and take a special picture in front of his sleigh. You are never too old to say hi to Santa and share an item or two off of your wish list right? You can even visit the reindeer stables, learn some fun facts and see Rudolph up close! It is amazing to see the kids eyes light up when we visit the reindeer. Truly magical!
We also love the character meet and greet inside the theater. The setting is whimsical and fun. The characters are dressed in their winter best, it is the perfect photo opp for families.
