Christmas Fun at the Gaylord National!

ICE! is back at the Gaylord National! This is a family favorite tradition that we look forward to year after year. Entering the Gaylord National, you are immediately surrounded by the sights and sounds of Christmas. It is magical! Follow the signs towards the Christmas Village and you’ll find ICE! featuring a holiday classic we all know and love… A Christmas Story! I’m sharing our best ICE! tips and tricks as well as must do activities!

ICE! TIPS

Bring a bag of warm items to wear during the ICE! experience and then return them all to the car. This helps lower the amount of extra bags you are carrying around if you plan to do other activities. You’ll want warm gloves and scarves for ICE! but not for the indoor fun.
Book your ICE! time for the start or end of your visit.
Bring hand and foot warmers, especially for the little ones.
Save hot chocolate for a warm up treat after your ICE! experience.
Watch the movie ICE! is themed after before your visit so you can fully appreciate the details and scenery. It is astonishing!
Stop for photo opportunities! This is so special and unique, take the picture!

SO MUCH CHRISTMAS FUN AT THE GAYLORD NATIONAL

ICE! is back! This year, the signature holiday attraction features your favorite scenes from the beloved movie A Christmas Story™, brought to life in magnificent sculptures hand-carved from more than two million pounds of ice. Presented by Pepsi. ICE! is open from November 20, 2022 – December 31, 2022, 10 am – 9pm daily *10am-11am hotel guests only. We loved this experience. It took us about 30 minutes to go through and this included reading the quotes along the way, sliding down the slides a few times and stopping for pics. My favorite scene was the bunny outfit of course, such a classic!

There is no shortage of Christmas fun at the Gaylord National! There is more than 10 activities to do in addition to ICE! A few of our favorites include the scavenger hunt, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Ice Skating and the Snow Flow Mountain! There is something for everyone, fun for all ages!
