Brunch in the city is the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. My family and I experienced our first Farmers Market brunch at Farmers & Distillers this weekend and it was fantastic! As far as brunch goes, Farmers & Distillers offers a fantastic brunch experience.
Brunch is served buffet style with coffee and hot and iced tea included. You are welcome to explore the stations such as the egg and griddle table, Chinese table, carving station, and of course the dessert table. The brunch is over the top delicious! I had to do my due diligence and sample as much as I could. Each station has a great variety of your favorites, as well as some items that may surprise you. Then there are also some passed table items like the dumplings, fried shrimp, and Eggs Benedict. These are all well worth giving them a try. The Eggs Benedict was the best I have had… so creamy and cooked perfectly! I really loved the garden scramble and bananas foster at the griddle table as well. There were so many tasty breakfast items to enjoy.
The carving station had perfectly cooked bacon and prime rib. The popular hot items were the crab dip and pimento cheese… so creamy that I savored every bite! Something that certainly sets this brunch experience apart is the Chinese food section. The Chinese Buffet had a delicious breakfast fried rice and riblets in honor of their Chinatown neighbors. The riblets were so tender. I definitely had more than one serving of these!
When planning a brunch visit, be sure to allow yourself a good amount of time. You will want to be like us and settle in for a couple of hours. We enjoyed breakfast, a coffee break, and followed up with a few small plates of the lunch offerings, and of course dessert! The donuts are homemade right there and are out of this world good! I would go just to get a few of these babies. In addition to donuts, they also offer a berry cobbler and a few other bars/pies. The best way to end an amazing brunch!
