The holiday season is my favorite season at Hersheypark. You are transported into a winter wonderland and immersed with twinkling lights, smells of the season and sounds of Christmas carols everywhere you go. It is such a special holiday family experience.
Enjoy Hersheypark Christmas Candylane with more than 5 million lights for the most merry event of the year. Enjoy your favorite rides and coasters, a visit with Santa, festive Hershey Character experiences, and more. My family of 5 had a blast celebrating our winter break here at the park. Here are my families top recommendations for Christmas Candylane.
Santa’s Reindeer
Enjoy an up-close look at your favorite reindeer, including Rudolph, at Santa’s Reindeer Stables. It was so cool to get up close to these majestic creatures. All of my kids faces lit up when we got to go face to face with Blitzen!
TREEville At The Boardwalk
The park has decked The Boardwalk with a festive trail of more than a dozen trees that share the stories of The Sweetest Place On Earth®. We enjoyed a stroll down this beautifully decorated path of trees. Our favorites were the Pepsi tree and the Hershey Bears tree, so creative!
Hershey Sweet Lights presented by T-Mobile
Enjoy nearly 600 illuminated, animated displays from the comfort of your car as you drive through 2 miles of wooded trails at Hershey Sweet Lights®! Buy online in advance and save by 5PM on the day of your visit. We save this as our last activity. We pack some candy canes or chocolate to enjoy during the drive and crank up the coordinating channel. I love Sweet Lights because it is a lengthy drive through experience and the attention to detail is incredible! Hershey Sweet Lights is located at 1183 Sandbeach Road, Hershey, PA 17033.
Sweet Holiday Treats
The Hershey holiday treats are not to be skipped. The Gourmet Hot Chocolate options are divine. So creamy and delicious, topped with some form of cookie, biscuits or marshmallow, what is not to love! Our family shared a big old bucket of cookies… yes a bucket of cookies! They were warm and gooey, a perfect treat on a cold winter’s night. You can even get a glass of milk! The holiday King Sized shake was good to the last drop. We got the Frozen Hot Chocolate topped with a pretzel tree, marshmallow snowman and marshmallow cupcake. Mmm.
