Get ready for cat-tastic fun! To celebrate the release of PAW Patrol: Pups Save the Kitten Catastrophe Crew, now available on DVD, I have a fun and easy DIY cat toy craft to share with you all!
This is a neat little craft that can be made for both real kitties or maybe even plush kitties. My daughter had fun with this one. The feathers and the bells were a big hit! Checkout the tutorial below.
Kitten Catastrophe Craft- DIY Cat Toy
Supplies:
- 1 Wooden dowel
- Assorted color feathers
- Assorted color mini bells
- Assorted color pipe cleaners
- Assorted color ribbon
- Super Glue
- Clear wire
Directions:
- Tie a knot to the end of your wooden dowel with the clear wire. Wrap it around the end of the dowel multiple times until it is firm and secure. This should cover about an inch of the dowel base.
- Leave 3 inches of the clear wire to hang from the dowel. Set aside.
- Attach bells to 6inch pieces of ribbon and tie tightly. You can add multiple bells to your ribbons.
- Attach feathers to pipe cleaners using super glue. Add as many feathers as you wish.
- Gather the ends of each ribbon and pipe cleaner and tie together to the end of the clear wire hanging from the dowel.
- Add some glue to make sure it is extra secure.
- Attach pipe cleaners or ribbon to decorate the base of your dowel.
- Enjoy your fun cat craft!
