The Giant National Capital BBQ Battle is back for its 28th year, this time as America’s First Virtual Food & Music Festival! This year’s event will be held from June 1st – 30th in an entirely virtual online format and Admission is FREE! The new exciting virtual format creates numerous social engagement opportunities with interactive programming, cooking contests, cooking demonstrations, award-winning recipes, numerous music stages, children’s activities, prizes, giveaways, and more.
About The Event
The Giant Barbecue Battle has been proclaimed “America’s Official National BBQ Championship” and added to the Congressional Record to officiate this momentous recognition. This event celebrates the diversity of BBQ as well as it’s unity of purpose by bringing together tens of thousands of people to our nation’s capital every year.
For its 28th year, the event is transitioning to an entirely virtual format based on a proactive decision made by organizers to ensure the health and safety of participants, staff, suppliers, vendors, and event beneficiaries. The Giant National Capital Barbecue Battle Virtual Experience creates a safe social engagement opportunity for brands and event attendees.
