In a world populated by various anthropomorphic animal species, Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) is an idealistic rabbit from Bunnyburrow who fulfills her dream of joining the police force of the city of Zootopia. She passes her difficult training and is introduced to the city as Zootopia Police Department’s latest recruit by Mayor Leodore Lionheart (J.K. Simmons). Unfortunately, Judy is relegated by Police Chief Bogo (Idris Elba) to parking duty. Although she operates zealously to prove herself, she is manipulated and humiliated by Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), a small time fox con artist.

Annie Is Coming To The National Theatre!

Leapin’ lizards! With more than 400 performances under her belt, the new U.S. National Tour of Annie will play the National Theatre for one week only, March 15 – 20, 2016. Directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin for the 19th time, this production of Annie is a brand new physical incarnation of the iconic 1977 Tony Award®-winning original.

Valentine’s For Kids

In our house we celebrate Valentine’s Day as a family and Valentine’s Night just me and my husband. We show love and kindness to each other all year round, but it is always fun to make things extra special on holidays in our house! We usually exchange valentines, say why we love each other, and of course enjoy some festive treats 🙂 Here are some of my favorite ways to share Valentines Day with my kids:

Adventure Theatre MTC Presents James and the Giant Peach!

Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC) launches its 2016 year with the musical James and the Giant Peach, based on the popular book by Roald Dahl (1916-1990) with a score written by Tony Award nominated duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dear Evan Hansen, A Christmas Story). Sponsored by Geico Insurance, James and the Giant Peach features a talented cast including Helen Hayes Award Nominated Jimmy Mavrikes (First Stage, Bat Boy) and the much-praised Tobias Young (Olney’s Guys and Dolls).

The Finest Hours ~ A Heroic Tale!

The Finest Hours tell the incredible true story of a breathtaking rescue mission. The most daring mission in the history of the Coast Guard! It takes place in a small town in New England on February 18th, 1952. A horrendous storm struck the New England area towns and all along the Eastern sea, making it impossible for ships to sail through. More specifically, the SS Pendleton, a T-2 oil tanker headed for Boston.

Disney’s The BFG Trailer and Poster Teaser

The BFG (Mark Rylance), while a giant himself, is a Big Friendly Giant and nothing like the other inhabitants of Giant Country. Standing 24-feet tall with enormous ears and a keen sense of smell, he is endearingly dim-witted and keeps to himself for the most part. Giants like Bloodbottler (Bill Hader) and Fleshlumpeater (Jemaine Clement) on the other hand, are twice as big and at least twice as scary and have been known to eat humans, while the BFG prefers Snozzcumber and Frobscottle.
