Clifford The Big Red Dog is a classic favorite in our home. Clifford represents the magic of having a friend that loves you just the way you are. That really is magic. I have loved the book for as long as I can remember. To see this adventure play out in live action on the big screen was wonderful! I loved seeing Clifford’s origin story and his adventures begin in NYC. Clifford is playing in theaters now and streaming on Paramount+
When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big!

I got to chat with the filmmakers and the stars of the movie about all things Clifford. This has actually been 20 years in making and it is finally here! It is definitely worth the wait. Parents, Clifford is a win-win! It’s witty, funny and has a lot of heart. I think the whole family can enjoy this heartfelt adventure movie. You enjoy the chase of thrill of experiencing the highs and lows of this great big love story between a girl and her dog. I enjoy the messages of sticking up for others, accepting someone that is different from you, real friendship and bravery to do the right thing even when it is really hard. Clifford will warm hearts everywhere! Big adventure, big laughs and big heart!
