Hershey PA has become one of our favorite weekend getaway spots! We love the traditions we have made here, and it is always fun to add new ones too! My family and I got to check out two new attractions this summer and they are both new family favorites!
Reese’s Cupfusion
I love visiting Hersheypark in the summer. Our family has gone at least once the last 4 summers, and every time we visit we experience something new and exciting! This summer was no exception. We were all so excited to check out the highly anticipated ride… Reese’s Cupfusion! I had a sneak peek at a media event before it opened, so I was very eager to experience the full thing! It did not disappoint. Be sure to use the new HPGO program to view personalized ride stats and ride photos in the Hersheypark App. Print and then scan your band before you get in the ride vehicle. The ride itself is a ton of fun and really interactive. Each rider becomes an agent, and your mission is to help protect the world’s supply of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. You need to guard the Crystal Cup by activating targets to power the factory, stunning intruders with your amplifier, working with fellow agents to unlock extra points, and more! The targets are so bright and colorful. I loved the different, interactive scenes the ride takes you by. The whole thing ends with a tasty gift shop, full of fun new merch. You can get all kinds of neat character items here too!
Hershey’s Unwrapped
When we visit Hersheypark, we always have to stop at Chocolate World. This is a chocolate lovers dream come true! Chocolate World can be a day full of fun activities in itself! This time we got to check out Hershey’s Unwrapped. This is an all new way to experience a family friendly chocolate tasting. Each guest is given their own kit which is filled with chocolate for the tasting, a guide, a certificate, and a fun surprise! It looks like you are entering a school, complete with themed decor. You also get transported to a lab, which my kids thought was super cool! During this hands on experience you get to unwrap each piece of chocolate as you learn about the 5 senses. My kids loved this experience! They laughed and learned something new too! I am a big fan of combining learning with fun, so it was a good mix of both.
There you have it, two new experiences in Hershey PA for you to check out that are sure to bring on some happiness! These are both great ways to beat the heat, or warm up inside depending on the weather.
