The Chocolatier is a foodie’s fantasy! Tucked away the entrance of Herhseypark and at the center of Chocolatetown is the Chocolatier. The Chocolatier serves up family fare with a fun spin, and hints of chocolate. The space features past and present pieces from the Hersheypark® ride collection, one-of-a-kind views of neighboring attractions, and a second-story patio and bar.
The Chocolatier celebrates the life and legacy of our founder, Milton S. Hershey, by continuing to bring people together for happiness, fun, and of course, chocolate. This restaurant has an atmosphere like no other. You walk in and immediately feel the special theme park touches. The design of the space is an ode to the park and classic park rides. You see the fun carnival ride booths that guest can eat in. You will also notice the beautiful bar that takes shape of the iconic carousel.
The food is delicious! The Chocolatier brings fun to table with their tasty sharables, delicious big plates and of course signature desserts. There is so much to chose from each visit. I have visited twice. Once for a girls lunch out and once for a family dinner. This is such a great location for a fun meal out! My family and I got to sit in one of the ride booth and my kids thought that was the coolest thing ever. We had to order the Ferris Wheel Sampler – A Taste Of Fun For Everyone. This sharable app includes Hershey’s Chocolate Barbecue Chicken Wings, Crispy Avocado, Classic Chicken Tenders, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Soft Pretzel Dippers. It delivers on the taste and the fun. The chocolate BBQ wings are so tangy and sweet, finger licking good!
Main dishes do not disappoint either. I highly recommend the Mac and Cheese- Cavatappi Pasta, Cheddar Queso, Pulled Short Rib, Hershey’s Chocolate Barbecue Sauce, Cacao Nib Gremolata. This is the perfect ratio of sweet and savory and it is a very generous portion. My husband and I shared this one.
Both mock-tails and cocktails are served at The Chocolatier. The drink list provides all sorts of fun elements. You can get fun drinks in unique flavors like the Jolly Rancher Green Apple Martini, Smores Martini, and The Frozen Chocolatier to name a few. A fun drink is a must! Don’t worry you can order mock-tails too! The Cotton Candy Fizz is a mix of Sierra Mist, Lemonade & Cotton Candy, good for those who looking for a fun and alcohol free drink.
Do not skip the desserts. This is where the magic happens. Milkshakes, cookie skillet, and fondue? Yes Please! Most of these are sharable and enough for 2-3 people. We enjoyed the Twizzler strawberry milkshake and a decadent cookie skillet with ice cream.
The Chocolatier is open daily. Complimentary parking is available in the Season Pass Holder lot when Hersheypark is not open or during events. Guests can access this lot through the Hersheypark parking entry gate. If guests are visiting during Park or event hours a parking fee applies for the general parking lots.
