Sonic the Hedgehog is back, and this time on the big screen! Sonic was one of my favorite video games as a kid. I played it on the SEGA Genesis and now my son is obsessed with the classic game on the Nintendo Switch. I got to see the trailer first on the Paramount Pictures Studio Lot. I am so excited I finally get to share it!
Based on the global blockbuster video game franchise from Sega, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG tells the story of the world’s speediest hedgehog as he embraces his new home on Earth. In this live-action adventure comedy, Sonic and his new best friend Tom (James Marsden) team up to defend the planet from the evil genius Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) and his plans for world domination. The family-friendly film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.
I love Jim Carrey! I have been a forever fan of his. I think he brings the creepy, slimy, no good Dr.Robotnik to life perfectly. I am excited for James Marsden to star opposite of Sonic. We know he can deliver when it comes to working along side of animated co-stars.
