We all have been spending more time indoors lately. Our family loves to play games, have themes dinner nights, and of course play our Nintendo Switch. One of our all time favorite games is Mario Kart. There is something about picking your character, the vehicle and racing for those coveted bragging rights. It results in all kinds of fun, laughter and silliness in our home. We were so excited to take our Mario Kart fun to the next level with the Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit game. We are also super excited to check out the LEGO Super Mario Adventures!

The Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit game creates your home into a real life Mario Kart game. It is just as cool as it sounds. Use the Nintendo Switch™ system to control your kart and watch as it reacts to what’s happening in the game as you boost and drift to victory. Your in-home course comes to life on-screen with a view from right behind the driver’s seat.

You can create a custom course in the real world. For us, it is our kitchen and living room. You can even use objects from around the house to customize your courses. Then get ready to watch the game come to life! My kids think this is the coolest game ever. It is a ton of fun to create a course and then see it play out on the Nintendo Switch. We used all kinds of other toys to make our course epic. We changed it up a few times too. This is great way to keep the family entertained indoors! It takes a little getting use to, but it is really cool to see your home on the screen as the course. My kids ages 9, 14, 16 are obsessed! 

Each set includes the kart, as well as 4 gates and 2 arrow sign boards needed for creating the course. It was pretty easy to set up and it gave us hours of fun. Create Your Own Mario Kart LEGO Adventures 

My kids love LEGO and they love Mario so this is such a fun pairing! With the LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Mario Starter Course Building Kit, you can build to create over 100 different instant reactions to movement. This is just the starter kit, you can purchase additional kits for more Mario interactions. Build your level and help Mario collect coins. Kids can even pair up with their favorite characters.

The LEGO Mario has a color sensor, plus LCD screens in his eyes, mouth and belly to display  his reactions to movement. There is also a speaker that plays iconic sounds and music from the video game. Kids will love the free LEGO® Super Mario™ app, which has building instructions, inspiration for fun, creative ways to play, and more. My kids loved this and had a great time building and seeing Mario’s reactions.
