Meet the WellieWishers, a sweet and silly group of girls who each have the same big, bright wish: to be a good friend. You can explore their world as they step into colorful garden boots and get ready for stomping in mud puddles, putting on shows, and helping friendships grow.
My daughters and I had the amazing opportunity to attend a VIP tour and luncheon, featuring the WellieWishers, at our local American Girl Store. What girl wouldn’t? Yes, these dolls are 14.5″ – perfect for younger girls… but that didn’t stop my 12 year old from loving them just as much! It was so fun to see all of the adorable and interactive accessories that go along with the dolls. My girls were immediately drawn to the WellieWishers. They loved seeing their play house and tea set out on display to look at and touch. Each of the WellieWishers have a fun, unique personality. My girls picked out the doll that they related to the most. The WellieWishers are the newest addition to the American Girl Family, and girls of all ages are loving what the WellieWishers have to offer. These dolls also come with fun play sets that go along wth their likes and personalities. Just like the other dolls, you can purchase matching clothing and accessories as well. The Wellie Boots and socks seem to be a big hit! They are definitely on my girls wish list, and I kind of want a pair, too 🙂
Camille adores the ocean—and she’s mellow as a mermaid. She’s the one her friends turn to when they need someone to listen.
Emerson loves the spotlight—and the spotlight loves her right back. She loves to make her friends smile with funny jokes, original dance routines, and show-stopping songs.
Willa has a love for animals. She’s sure to be the first one up a tree—and the last to turn away a furry friend.
Kendall is creative—she’s always drawing and inventing. Leave it to her to patch friendly mix-ups with smiles, patience, and a handmade card.
Ashlyn is a princess-in-training (and party-planner extraordinaire). She’s just the one to turn a friend’s frown upside-down.
If you are local to the DC area, I highly suggest visiting the American Girl Store at Tysons Corner Mall. Not only can you see the dolls and their numerous accessories up close, but you can visit the doll hospital, doll salon, and the bistro, too!
