Finding Neverland is playing at the National Theatre now through March 3rd. This is a must see tale, great for the whole family. Have you ever wondered how some of our favorite story book characters came to be? Finding Neverland pulls back the cover, and invites you into the brilliant mind of J.M. Barrie. You see that his love and gift for play writing is clear. You also get to see his inspiration for one of the most beloved tales of all time…Peter Pan.
This is really a beautiful story told with such incredible song and dance numbers. I wanted to jump to my feet following the “Believe” performance. The touring cast is absolutely delightful. My kids ages 7, 12, and 14 all were very into this show. They loved the music, and there were many laugh out loud moments, too! There is a tender moment with the passing away of the mother, but it is done with such grace. It was actually a favorite part of mine.
