Yesterday our family attended our first ever Disney Live! show. To say we had a good time would be an understatement. We went to Disney Live! Mickey and Minnie’s Doorway to Magic Presented by Stonyfield YoKids Organic Yogurt. The whole family really enjoyed this show from start to finish. As my oldest said when we left, “that went by way too fast!”
Disney Live! Mickey and Minnie’s Doorway to Magic was full of all our favorite Disney Characters. We saw the Fairy Godmother transform Cinderella’s rags into a beautiful ball gown in a split second, the Toy Story gang defy the dimensions of Andy’s toy box with the help of the green army men, and the spectacular stage debut of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider as they rose into the sky amidst the floating lanterns. Of course there were princesses, Tinker Bell, and Aladdin’s Genie! So many special guests!
I always love to look over and see the kid’s expressions and hear the audience ohh and ahh! I loved the magic element added to this show. There were definitely some cool tricks and illusions. The whole arena was captivated by this magical performance. Highlights for our family included Buzz Lightyear’s out of this world laser show, a floating Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder, and of course Mickey and those crazy Fantasia brooms!
