Slides, cider, and goats, oh my! Sound like fun? Then Cox Farms is the place for you this fall! Loaded with endless activities to keep you and your family entertained throughout the day, Cox Farms is great for all ages. It is one of Northern Virginia’s prime locations for fall festival fun, and has been for years!
My family and I enjoyed the day at the farm last weekend. With an 11, 9, and 3 year old, plus grandparents and young adult, I mean it when I say the whole family can have a good time down at the farm! We decided to go on a Saturday, one of the most popular days, because that’s what worked for us. Even though it was a little crowded, most of the lines were not too long. The farm is so big and spread out, it can hold a lot of visitors. You can always go during the week in the afternoon if you prefer less people. My kids loved going down the slides with their grandparents and aunty. But I couldn’t tell who was having more fun! 🙂 We also loved petting the goats, enjoying the free apple cider, and the cow milking demonstrations. We did most activities together, but it was nice to split up and do our own things, too! As usual, the kids could have stayed longer than we did. The slides provide endless amounts of entertainment! The clear favorite was the hayride. Goofy characters mixed with Halloween fun was perfect! The staff was so friendly and made our visit that much more enjoyable. You could tell they really enjoyed doing their jobs.
Cox Farms also has the food department covered. Serving up kettle corn, their famous hand-cut fries, BBQ smoked right there on the farm, the Fall Festival offers plenty of delicious eats and treats. The Fall Festival Market is Open Daily now through Nov 8, 2015. Rain or Shine! They also offer homemade cider, pumpkins, farm fresh veggies and more! No admission needed to go to the market.

My family and I had a great time and would love to come back next year. At the end of it all each person gets to pick their own mini pumpkin-the prefect fall souvenir. We really enjoyed the farm and would definitely recommend it as a fall favorite!
I was provided with this tickets to attend the Cox Farms Fall Festival in exchange for my honest review. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.
