Hersheypark Christmas Candylane
Hersheypark transforms into a land of more than 4 million twinkling lights to become Christmas Candylane. There are many of your favorite rides still open for enjoyment. You won’t want to miss the fun choreographed light show. My kids were dazzled by this! We also really loved seeing the Hershey characters in their holiday outfits. The best part of the park during Christmas time is seeing all 9 of Santa’s Reindeer! Yes, real breathing reindeer! So special to see my kids eyes light up when they saw these pretty creatures. To keep you warm you can enjoy a refillable hot chocolate mug, benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network. This was handy to have when it got dark and colder. You can also enjoy a delicious gourmet hot chocolate and mouth watering treats from Simply Chocolate in the park. Festive fun and christmas magic await at Hersheypark!
Sweet Lights
Hershey Sweet Lights is a dazzling drive through christmas light experience that is fun for the whole family. We made a pit stop for cookies and milk before we embarked on our adventure. Once there you tune in to the channel on your car radio, and begin your ride through all kinds of holiday fun! My kids loved looking at the displays and pointing out the cool things they saw. It was longer than I expected and totally worth the add on to park tickets. You and your family can enjoy 2 miles of illuminating light displays from the comfort and warmth of your own car!
Hershey’s Chocolate World
After our park visits we always have to stop here for goodies and take home treats. Of course you can get all kinds of holiday goodies, stocking stuffers, gifts and more here at Hershey’s Chocolate World. There are gorgeous decorations and many festive photo opportunities in here too! We love the chocolate ride, and we had to get some fresh baked cookies for our Sweet Lights visit later that night. I love to stock up on the different versions of holiday kisses!
There is much to do, see, and indulge in this holiday season in Hershey PA. A day or weekend, it’s the perfect Christmas getaway not too far from the DC area. This is one trip you will want to add to your holiday bucket list!
