National Harbor, Md.’s signature waterfront resort has added a plethora of complimentary, resort-only activities designed for the whole family to its entertainment schedule. Visitors can experience nightly laser light shows choreographed to everyone’s favorite summer jams, a nature-loving scavenger hunt focused on backyard bugs and kid-friendly activities by the resort’s junior Olympic-size pool.
On weekends, guests can experience live music and cocktails in Gaylord National’s lobby bar on Fridays, as well as poolside on Saturdays. For the ultimate SummerFest celebration, Gaylord National Resort will hold an Independence week Block Party Bash from July 2 through July 6. Resort guests can experience the best of SummerFest activities all day, every day during the week; plus additional complimentary family fun events including trivia nights at National Pastime Sports Bar & Grill, a kids craft corner, games and more.
