Theme park enthusiast and foodies unite at Busch Gardens annual Food & Wine Festival! My family loves this time of year at the park. Not only do we get to ride and explore the beautiful park, we also get to try culinary delights from around the globe.
Busch Gardens invites guests to unleash their inner foodie, enjoying the 43 specialty entrees and desserts from around the world, 35 different wines, 33 craft beers, 30 unique cocktails and 11 specialty beverages that are available for purchase at over fifteen themed kiosks located throughout the park.
Top 6 Must Try Foods:
Gamba Fritters
Fried shrimp dumplings with Pickapeppa dip from Jamaica. These are something my son always asks for. Spicy and filling.
Mini Cannoli Trio
Traditional, strawberry cheesecake & chocolate hazelnut mini cannoli with chocolate drizzled shells from Italy. I am Italian, so I could never pass up on this traditional dessert. I love that you can try all three flavors.
Mushi-Gyoza
Japanese-style steamed chicken dumplings with citrus ponzu sauce from Japan. Dumplings are one of my favorite foods ever. This one was steamed just right and paired perfectly with the sauce.
Bacon & Cheddar Hush Puppies
Cornmeal fritters served with honey butter from Virginia. This is almost like dessert. Crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside and so tasty!
Beignets
Fried doughnut squares topped with powdered sugar & drizzled with caramel from the French Quarter. Hands down the best dessert there. Fried to perfection and topped with caramel, this is an amazing dessert!
You can purchase individual samples, but I would recommend getting sampler card. With the Food & Beverage sampler you can enjoy delicious Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival cuisine as you mix & match your choice of TEN items and SAVE UP TO 45%.
This is what we have had the last few years and we love it! It makes for a really fun day to explore the park and stop for a bite to eat or a fun drink whenever you feel the inkling! This would make for a really nice day date. There are many spots to take a breather and enjoy the scenery, as well as plenty of thrills!
You can also make this a fun family, cultural experience. My kids loved trying new foods and learning a little about each country we sampled from. Plan your next trip and enjoy the amazing culinary selections as well as one of the worlds prettiest theme parks!
