Play ball! The Washington Nationals 2024 Baseball Season has begun! We are ready for a great season at the ballpark! There is a fabulous line up of family fun events, theme days, cool promos, fireworks, and much more. There is fun to be had for all ages this spring and summer and I am sharing a few highlights of what I think families are going to enjoy the most this season. GAME DAY TIPS FOR PARENTS
- Plan ahead for the games you want to attend for the season. Is there a theme day your family would like? Look at the full calendar before you buy tickets for best deals and events!
- Know what to pack! Any bag larger than a 5” by 7” by ¾” clutch must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC. Fans with diaper or medical bags may use ADA/Family lanes. All bags are subject to search. I usually bring some fidget toys, baseball fun fact cards, coloring and a few pre-packaged snacks.
- Other fun things to bring: A baseball, Baseball gloves, Sunscreen and hats, Rain jackets.
- Take advantage of the grab and go marketplaces.
- Arrive early and enjoy the kids playground area, grab a snack or treat and use the bathroom all before settling into your seats.
- After select games on Sundays, kids can run the bases. Check the website for dates.
- Kids ages 4 to 12 can join the Jr. Nationals Kids Club for free—or they can sign up for the paid MVP package to receive special Nats Gear and exclusive perks! My kids loved being a part of this club.
