Looking for a fun family movie to see this fall? See Warner Bros Storks! Storks deliver babies…or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for a global internet retail giant. Junior (Andy Samberg), the company’s top delivery stork, is about to be promoted when he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine, producing an adorable, and wholly unauthorized, baby girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble before the boss gets wise, Junior and his friend Tulip, the only human on Stork Mountain, race to make their first-ever baby drop – in a wild and revealing journey that could make more than one family whole and restore the storks’ true mission in the world.
My husband, my kids, and myself laughed through this entire movie! This is a heartwarming movie filled with laughter. As a parent, I appreciate all of the subtle adult humor weaved throughout the film. I am a big Andy Samburg fan, so I liked it all the more 🙂 But it wasn’t just all silly, there is a great message, too! When trying to find where she belongs, Tulip realizes she has a family of her own already. Family is not only who you are related to, but who is there for you, cares for you, through thick and thin. It was great to see Tulip and Junior overcome their own troubles and create a special bond together while finding their flock.
I also loved the portrayal of the overly scheduled, too busy parents. I admit I can be guilty of this! I loved seeing them drop everything, hesitantly of course, to spend some quality time with their son. The same son who so badly wants a baby sibling, and wrote the Storks to put in his request! Heartwarming for sure.
Storks will make you laugh and pull at your heartstrings! It’ s a great movie to see with the whole family!
