Anyone who knows me knows how much I love all things Disney! I was so excited to be selected to host a #DisneyKids playdate for my youngest and some of her friends! We had a blast playing together and eating some Mickey themed treats, of course. Read all about our fun!
With Disney, the magic is endless! We received a Sophia The First suitcase courtesy of American Tourister, and it was filled with goodies for our play date. See my unboxing video below!
My 5 year old jumped up and down when she saw the suitcase, and opened it up to find a Dory Pillow Pet! She snuggled her new blue friend and we used the suit case the following weekend to Grandma’s house. She was so proud of her newest prized possession.
Whenever I plan a playdate I always make sure I have two things, 1) games or activities and 2) snacks. Disney provided us with some really fun games to play, like a matching game, hidden Mickey game, and a fortune teller game. All were a big hit! The kids also loved the tattoos.
As far as the snacks went, I kept it simple and easy. I used the Pop Secret popcorn we received to make Mouseka-Popcorn (which is just popcorn and colored candies). The kids ate it up! I also made Mickey Pretzels, which were chocolate covered square pretzels with 3 colored candies to create the Mickey shape. What’s not to love? Last but not least, I made Minnie’s Chocolate Strawberries. These are your regular chocolate covered strawberries with white sprinkle balls to create the polka dots. These were all a home run! I also set out some Mickey shaped veggies chips and loli pops that I found at my local store. The kids will love anything Mickey shaped! It was a breeze switching from snacks to the photo booth, with the help of Softsoap. Gentle enough for little hands, but still gets the job done!
To capture all of our fun, we used the HP Social Media Snapshots. These are my new favorite thing! You download the app, decorate your social snapshot, and print at home. These have a sticky back so you can put them up anywhere. Each of my guests got to take home a pack of their own Social Media Snapshots thanks to HP.
