SummerFest at the Gaylord National

Need a break from the daily grind and daily routines? I know we do every now and then. Sometimes it’s nice to pack up the kids and get away for a day or two. We did this last week. We didn’t go far, but we had a wonderful weekend staycation at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center!

My kids are big animal lovers! So when we had the opportunity to screen The Secret Life of Pets, we jumped at it! The previews were a good tell of how much we would enjoy this movie. It was cute, relatable, and provided lots and lots of giggles!

I am Italian! So olive oil has always been a staple in our home. We use it in various ways, but one thing’s for sure- quality is everything. My Grandmother would use olive oil in most of her cooking. That passed down to my Father and then myself. One of my kids’ favorite things is when we have pasta with a fresh baguette and olive oil for dipping… yum!
