Looking for the next place to get away for a long weekend? Look no further than Hershey PA! This is the perfect destination for your next family friendly, girls only, or even romantic weekend away. These are some of my highlights and top recommendations from my last trip to Hershey.
Hersheypark – My kids and I love visiting Hersheypark! There is something for all ages and for all thrill levels to enjoy! If you plan to visit this summer, you have to check out the newest addition to the park, Reese’s Cupfusion. I got a sneak peek at a press visit, and it looks so cool. We can’t wait to go back and ride it! A ride on the historic 100 year old carousel is also a must.
Hershey Gardens – Bask in the beauty of gorgeous grounds, smell the roses, and enjoy a few of the interactive kid’s areas. The Butterfly Atrium is such a neat experience! You can see a ton of beautiful butterflies all around you, and some may even choose to hang out right on you!
Hershey Trolley Works – This is hands down the best way to see the town! Learn all about the inspiring story of Milton Hershey and see all of the main sites of the town of Hershey (the original chocolate factory, Mr. Hershey’s birthplace, his home Highpoint Mansion, Chocolate Avenue, the Hershey Kiss Streetlights, Hershey Park, and Milton Hershey School). It was a pretty tour, informative, and really entertaining. Our driver and the tour guide were very passionate about their jobs, and it showed! They even offer fun seasonal tours. I’d love to come back and do it again during Christmas time.
The Hershey Story – Enjoy hands on fun for kids, indulge in the sweet eats at the cafe, or try chocolate from around the world! The Hershey Story is much more than a museum. It is an interactive, entertaining experience! Read more about my museum experience here.
Hershey’s Chocolate World – This is the ultimate hang out for chocolate lovers! This could be a full day of activities for sure! Guests can choose from the FREE Chocolate ride tour (this is a family favorite), create your own candy bar, enjoy sweets, shop, and much more! New this year is Hershey’s Unwrapped. Experience an immersive and delicious fun-filled tasting journey hosted by two of Hershey’s most dynamic Tasting authorities! It sounds really neat 🙂
Hershey’s Chocolatetown – Coming 2020! Hershey’s Chocolatetown is a new region at Hersheypark where guests can eat, play, shop, and gather year-round, with everything from a new arrival experience and coaster to more than 5 dining options and retail shops. I can’t wait to see this open and attend with my family!
Concerts & Shows – There is an amazing lineup of artists coming to the Hershey Stadium! It is the perfect outdoor venue for summer time fun. If you enjoy live theater, then you will not want to miss the broadway entertainment coming to the Hershey Theater!
