Our family had a howling good time at Great Wolf Lodge last weekend. We got to experience all of the Howl-O-Ween fun the lodge has to offer this time of year. My kids literally did not want to leave, and are already asking when can we visit again.
During the Howl-O-Ween event, guests are treated to many family friendly, Halloween themed activities such as Trick-Or-Treat Trail where you make way around the lodge as you visit our not-so scary trail stops, collecting tricks-or-treats as you go! Monster Bash Dance Party- Guys and ghouls are encouraged to show us their scariest dance moves as we spin Howl-O-Ween favorites that will make you want to move your bones. We danced for an hour! Boo Bingo- Whether it’s up, down, diagonal or across, yelling “Boo” is the winning lingo. All three of my kids got a bingo and we had so much fun playing! See more of the Howl-O-Ween activities here.
Upon arrival my husband and son hit the arcade to play some games, and us girls checked out Scoops Spa! The arcade is loaded with so many games. Plus it is open 24 hrs, perfect for the teens or night owls in your family. Scoops Spa is the perfect place to treat your little princess to a mani/pedi and indulge in ice cream-themed fizzy soaks, sherbet scrubs and yummy nail colors. Your special girl will feel like a dazzling star as she rests on her banana split throne in her take-home tiara, my girls sure did!
Of course when at Great Wolf Lodge you get to experience an amazing water park too! Good from the time you check in until the park closes the day you check out! The water park offers a variety of family fun including thrilling water slides, a relaxing lazy river, a wave pool and much more! We had a blast riding down the River Canyon Run together. I think we went 5 more times! All three of my kids took turns standing under the big bucket waiting for it to drop! It was so fun to swim, ride, relax, and play together!
Yes the water park is a ton of fun and we could have spent the whole day there, but Great Wolf Lodge has many other attractions inside the lodge waiting to be explored. We got to check out MagiQuest- where you can pick a wand and embark on a mission, this is also an entire day of scavenger hunt/magic fun! Creation Station- This is where we got to stuff our own Great Wolf Kids character to take home. We had fun picking them out and then deciding on an outfit 🙂 After creating your own Great Wolf Kids character, you can take it on an adventure throughout the lodge, this is called Clubhouse Crew. Great Wolf Lodge even has outside fun to enjoy, like mini golf and a ropes course! My son had the best time on the Howlers Peak Ropes Course. Here you face new challenges on the ropes course from the safety of a climbing harness. He loved climbing up high and zip lining across! See the full list of attractions here.

As you can see my family and I had such a great time. Great Wolf Lodge has comfortable, spacious rooms, seasonal fun, and plenty of activities to keep you and your family entertained.
