When I think circus, I recall many fond childhood memories. I think of the cotton candy, the face painting, and of course the dazzling entertainment. I love being able to relive these memories now with a family of my own. We attended the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Presents Circus XTREME and enjoyed a night full of excitement!
We started off the night with face painting for all the kids. These artists were fast and did an awesome job. Plus, the face paint was glow-in-the-dark! When the lights went down during the show, you could see the glowing tiger and butterfly sitting in our row. Next, equipped with the proper circus snacks of popcorn and cotton candy, we took our seats and were ready to be amazed!
From the moment the Ring Master came out on stage it was an evening full of Circus XTREME fun and entertainment! My girls loved seeing the incredible Asian elephants in all their glory. My son was dazzled by the trapeze artists and the BMX bikers. My favorite was the poodle and the adorable tricks they did. They are so smart and such incredible performers! There were many times I wanted to close my eyes and hold my breath for these magnificent performers, but I couldn’t look away. The show most definitely took circus acts to the XTREME. I would obviously go back!
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Presents Circus XTREME will come to life at two arenas in the Washington, D.C. area. The show will be at Verizon Center from March 31-April 3, and the EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, VA, from April 6-17.
The ultimate family entertainment experience features high-wire wizards, spectacular strongmen, BMX trick riders, trampoline daredevils, inconceivable contortionists, a high-flying human cannonball, a bungee aerial skydiving display and an international assembly of more than 100 world-renowned artists.
