Busch Gardens transforms into a magical place that transports you to Christmas Town each holiday season. This is one of the top rated attractions in Virginia, and it is an experience you must add to your Holiday bucket list!
What I love about Christmas Town is the kid like magic that flows throughout the whole park! It is hard not to smile ear to ear while walking through this winter wonderland. While visiting this time of year, you are able to experience kid-friendly attractions and shows, delicious treats, thrilling rides, roller coasters, and all of your favorite Christmas characters, there is nowhere else quite like it except the North Pole itself. Here are my top 3 reasons to visit Busch Gardens Christmas Town!
1- The Christmas Decor is like no other! Every hall is decked, giant trees are shining, and over eight million light are twinkling throughout the park. There is not an area left without a touch of Christmas decor, and it is absolutely stunning. We loved walking the park and just admiring the beauty of it all. Of course it makes for beautiful pictures, and memories that are sure to last a lifetime!
2- The Christmas Shows are stunning! There are 6 different shows to see this year, and they are all so entertaining and captivating! Our favorites were Twas That Night and Scrooge No More. Twas That Night re-imagines the magic of Christmas Eve and the classic poem A Visit From St. Nicholas. World-champion figure skater Elvis Stojko brings this beloved Christmas story to life, on ice. Oh my goodness, this ice show was incredible! So talented, and such a fun story to see come to life. Scrooge No More is a good way to warm up, and see this Broadway quality show complete with special effects and a heart warming message. All the shows are top notch and are not to be missed when visiting!
3- Kid Friendly Fun! Yes rides are open, but no visit to Christmas Town is complete without a visit to The North Pole! You can stop by to see Santa and his elves busy at Santa’s Workshop. Your kids will be wide eyed and loving every minute. Then you can head over to meet Rudolph and friends in Rudolph Winter Wonderland! These are just 2 of the 6 areas with family fun holiday attractions!
