Today is the release day of The Adventures of Rockford T. Honeypot. My son and I have been reading this together, and we are loving it. It is the perfect book to read with your kids this summer. In celebration of the release, I have some fun recipes to share with you all!

About the Book

As a young chipmunk, shy, bookish Rockford T. Honeypot had dreams of thrilling adventures across the forest. However, timid of danger and germs, his only adventures were found in books and his imagination. When his family abandons him after a mistake that destroys their hazelnut business, Rockford sets off on a legendary journey beyond his wildest dreams. My son is loving the adventure this chipmunk is on. He is brave and learning so much about himself through this epic journey!

The author, Josh Gottsegen, did a fabulous job at developing these great characters and story that really draw you in. I would definitely recommend this book for kids of all ages. It is fun to take turns reading chapters with my 8 and 13 year olds. We have all been thoroughly entertained by Rockford T. Honeypot.
