Family Friendly Super Bowl Party!

Do you and your family love to enjoy the big game all together? I know my family sure does! We love any reason to throw a fun party, and the Super Bowl is no different. I have some fun and simple tips & tricks for a family friendly super bowl party!

1. DIY Decor – There is no party without some fun decor. Balloons and streamers will do, but up your decor game with Football Utensil Holders (recycled cans or mason jars made to look like footballs). This is a festive and practical way to display items such as utensils, straws, and napkins. Take a mason jar and use brown spray paint or construction paper to cover the jars. Once it is dry, use a white marker to draw on the football stripes. So easy, and you can use again and again!

2. DIY Football Snack Bags – Everyone needs snacks during the game. Use a brown paper bag, roll over the top 3x. Using a white marker or paint, draw on the football stripes. We also used black cups and decorated them with a play drawing. These are both fun to fill up with snacks. Top with candies that have your team colors!

3. Football Treats – Make delicious football themed treats such as mini football eclairs, chocolate covered pretzel rods, and strawberries with football stripes. These are so easy to do! Get a bag of melting chocolate and melt. I prefer to use a double boiler method. Dip the items in chocolate, cool, and top with white icing stripes. Again, so easy, very festive, and yummy!

4. DIY Mini Foam Fingers – These keep the kids engaged and are a fun way to show your team spirit. With felt, hot glue, and stickers, you can make a foam finger! I would recommend drawing or tracing a foam finger on the felt. Pick whatever size you would like… I made finger puppet sizes. Cut 2 pieces of foam. Glue all around the edges leaving the bottom unglued. Wait a few minutes for the glue to cool. Decorate with sharpies, stickers, team colors, or whatever else you like. Wear on your index finger and get your cheer on!

5. Football Bingo – This is always a crowd pleaser. You can download and print a set, and use markers or mini football chocolates to mark your spot. Have a few fun prizes ready for the winner(s). Download the printable Super Bowl Bingo!
