In celebration of the release of The Smurfs: Season 1, Volume 3, I am so excited to share this delicious recipe inspired by beloved Smurfs and their adorable mushroom village! This is a fun treat the kids will love to make. Get ready to enjoy this simply and tasty Smurf Berry treat!
Smurf Berries Recipe
Ingredients:
- Colored melting chocolate (1 package of light blue, dark blue, red, and white)
- Toothpicks
- Wax paper
- 1-pound of fresh strawberries
Directions:
- Wash and dry strawberries.
- Melt chocolate in microwave in 30 second increments, stirring occasionally until smooth.
- Do one color at a time.
- Insert toothpicks into tops (stem ends) of strawberries. Hold a strawberry by the toothpick and dip it into the chocolate mixture, coating entirely.
- Place strawberry on a sheet of wax paper; allow chocolate coating to cool. Repeat with remaining strawberries and colors.
- For the red dipped berries, once dry use a toothpick to make white chocolate circles over the dry red chocolate.
- Enjoy!
