Can you believe in just a few shorts week Thanksgiving will be here? I know these last two months will fly by, so I am here to help you prepare! If you are anything like me, you enjoy decorating and creating table settings for your guests. Even if you don’t enjoy it, but like the end product, I have some easy, no fail table settings from Oriental Trading, for both kids and adults!
At our house, everyone sits together. So we have a combined adult and kids table. This works for us right now and I love being able to share a meal with our family all at one table. Peanuts Kids Thanksgiving Table
Our family loves the classic Peanuts Thanksgiving movie. Of course we decided to use this fun tableware for the kids table settings. Our table scape for the kids is completed with popcorn and jelly beans just like Snoopy serves in this Peanuts classic 🙂 This will keep the kids entertained when they finish before the adults.
DIY Silverware Holders
To make this project you will need:
Burlap Bags, Burlap Bows, Acorns, Hot Glue.
This is an easy way to dress up your table settings. Simply glue the bow on to the middle of the bag, followed by the acorn and in the middle of the bag. Allow time to cool. Insert silverware. I love this farmhouse style look. It pairs beautifully with the fall colors most likely already at your table 🙂
Add some earthy tones to your table with a wood base. This went perfectly under my beige vase and white flowers. I love how the wood ties it all together!
