The Good Dinosaur asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation takes you on this wild journey, and no one does it like Pixar! You will meet all kinds of dinosaurs, from funny T-Rex’s to mean Pterodactyl’s and the main character, a timid Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa). When Arlo decides he is ready to make his mark, he begins a journey he will never forget. Along this life changing journey, Arlo befriends a human named Spot, and they soon make a remarkably sweet duo. While on this crazy journey, Arlo learns that sometimes you have to face your fears to find the beauty on the other side.
With plenty of subtle adult humor, and many out right silly moments, The Good Dinosaur is a must see for all ages. My husband, my 4 year old, and my 11 year old all gave The Good Dino two thumbs up! This movie was so well done. Nothing compares to the animation that the Pixar Animation Studios can deliver. This movie made my heart hurt for a dinosaur and leap for joy when we was finally reunited with his family! I know, I am truly a kid at heart. My most favorite moment had to be when Arlo’s father came back to give him that last push of courage he needed. This movie has great messages about the strong bond families have, everyone in the family has something to contribute, facing your fears, having courage, and the power of love! So many sweet little moments full of real life wisdom we could all use! I can’t wait to see this one again!
