These days, there seems to be hundreds of diet fad and “tricks” out there. If you are looking for a real and healthy way of life, Trim Healthy Mama (THM) is a great resource. As a Moms Meet Ambassador, I was able to read these books myself and see what they had to offer. What exactly is THM you ask?

Sounds interesting, right? Not only do these magnificent mamas guide you through developing healthy eating habits, but they teach you the why’s and how’s. I love the way the book is written. It is very relatable and practical advice, no diet pills or crazy fads. Now granted, there is a learning curve to Trim Healthy Mama. It can seem a bit overwhelming at first, but I encourage you to keep reading! It is not designed like most conventional diets as a 30 or 90 day plan. You are not instructed exactly what to eat at every meal with portion sizes dictated to you. The plan encourages you to learn to put meals together yourself that will suit your own needs and food preferences. That being said, this can be catered to your lifestyle. If you have allergies, it can be adapted to fit you and your family. Trim Healthy Mama is geared as a lifelong plan, you learn as you go, but after a while it becomes like second nature for most people. The goal is to create healthy, life long eating habits!
Once you have read the book and are familiar with the suggested ingredients/replacements and the THM lingo, the cookbook becomes your new BFF.
