Stonyfield Is Helping Our #FutureLeaders

When in the trenches of motherhood, it is easily forgotten that while wiping faces, making dinners, and helping with homework, that we are raising the future leaders of this world. It is quite daunting to think about, but so true. We are raising our children to become adults who make this world a better place. Thats why I am excited to partner with Stonyfield in raising awareness for their #FutureLeaders campaign.

Last year Stonyfield became a sponsor of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums SAFE program (Saving Animals from Extinction) to help educate kids and their families about endangered animals. Stonyfield aimed to bring kids everywhere up close and personal with the animal kingdom to learn about the conservation projects and efforts that are taking place to save these critical species – to in turn help kids learn how they can make a difference.

Over the next year Stonyfield plans to take kids from the Boys & Girls clubs across the country for a day at one of America’s AZA accredited Zoos and Aquariums — and they’re asking for your help. During the campaign, Stonyfield will match every donation made up to $125,000. Essentially, doubling the impact of each donation! This amazing campaign is happening now through November 6.

These trips really give kids a chance to see and learn for themselves. It is so much more impactful to see a real-life polar bear  than seeing one on a tablet or screen. Stonyfield wants kids to know that an elephant is more than just a Saturday morning cartoon character, and they can help protect these animals and their ecosystems as the future leaders they are! What a great message for our kids to be learning!

You can help make a difference by donating to the campaign and helping generate the buzz. Learn more and donate here- https://igg.me/at/TheFutureLeader.
