We had a blast this past weekend at Six Flags America! Not only did we have a great Easter, we made a whole weekend of it by attending a fun PEEPS egg hunt at the Six Flags America park. The park is open all spring break long from March 25th- April 3rd. There is so much to do and fun to be had for everyone!
Even though we spent a good eight hours, there was still a ton of stuff we didn’t get to do. We spilt our time up a bit differently than most since we have a 4, 9, and 11 year old. We spent a good amount of time in the Looney Tunes Movie Town, which even my older kids enjoyed seeing the familiar characters. There is a lot to do in this area. There is a mini version of most of the bigger rides including tea cups, drop tower, and swings! My littlest loved being able to ride rides again and again! Our favorite stop had to have been the Props Warehouse because what kid doesn’t love shooting balls across a room full of other kids, and racing up tweety bird’s cage?!?
When my youngest would need a break, or when my husband wanted to take the older two, we would head toward the more thrilling rides. My kids loved the Rodeo and the Ragin’ Cajun rides! It was fun to see their faces light up as they just let go and completely immersed themselves in all their theme park glory!
Our whole family enjoyed the shows! We saw the stunt show and the hypnosis show. We laughed at each one and all three of my kids’ attention was kept throughout! We also took a few rides on the trains that travel through the park. It is a good way to relax and get some shade.
Six Flags America has something for everyone, with even more fun to come this 2016 season!
